Our first time taking out. Food was delicious and packed well. Staff was helpful and friendly. Restaurant seemed very clean and organized. We will definitely be returning!

Great food and not too pricey. We got takeout and everything was fresh and delicious. Very friendly people at the register, too. Recommend, especially as there are a lot of vegetarian options on the menu.

The Birria tacos are really good. The Rice and Beans were okay. The quesadillas were really good too. The lengua tacos were a little chewier than I'm used to but still okay. I also appreciate the full condiments of limes, radishes and hot sauce for the tacos.

At Taqueria El Mexicanito, there philosophy is simple: ingredients should always be fresh and the recipes authentic. They cook all of there food from scratch continuously throughout the day. Everything they make - from the Al Pastor to the traditional guacamole to the various complimentary salsas - is prepared in small batches, guaranteeing that it is served at the peak of freshness. My husband ordered 8 soft chicken tacos and an order of French fries. He stated the tacos were delicious, full of flavors, alittle pricey. But worth the price if the food is fresh and cooked with love. The only complaint was the French fries , they were placed in a stero foam container, by the time he got home, the fries were to soggy to eat. They need to poke holes in there container so the steam can be released, and then the fries would of been edible.

Their location is right on 611 directly across the street from the post office. When you call in your order, if you don't speak Spanish, it may get a little dicey. The guy who answered the phone has a very heavy accent, so I know the food is going to be good. You can't have gringos making Mexican food! Since we are in a COVID-19 environment, I called the order in and it took about 20 minutes for it to be completed. We just waited outside in our truck until it was ready. I have a steak burrito and french fries and could only eat half of the burrito. My daughter had the cheese enchilada with rice and beans and she ate probably a third of it. Very good, very authentic. We're from Arizona so we have a feel for this.
